Biography
Printer, editor and writer in London. Printer and editor of the 'Gentleman's Magazine'. From 1766 partner of William Bowyer the younger until the latter's death in 1777. In 1800 he took into partnership his own son John Bowyer Nichols; Samuel Bentley joined the firm between 1812 and 1818.
