| Content Description | He writes in haste, as the pilot leaves immediately He has sent the papers and thanks Johnson for the help he has afforded him. Also tries to settle some debts. Says that he should makes Humphry's peace to Mr. Macpherson with honour, if this isn't possible he should "pursue the war."
Humphry includes a note saying that he missed the pilot, which left without his letter or the portrait of Hussein uza[] Khan. |
