| Content Description | This year he is sending to the Acdemy a large Decorative Tiger, in bronze, which is to go to India. He has tried to emphasise its nature as a wild animal, a tame tiger does not interest the Indian people. His second work is a sketch design of the Royal Artillery Memorial which is to go in The Mall and is in essence part of the Queen Victoria scheme. The central part, in bronze, represennts war being controlled by peace. |
