Content DescriptionHe has been to Venice and been awed by the works there of Titian, Tintoretto and Paolo Veronese; he has shown his portraits to some local worthies, eagerly as the British School is principly based on that of Venice, his pictures made a suitable impression; Holman thinks he has recovered; he is to stay in Milan for two days, to see the works of Leonardo da Vinci.
