| Title | Richard Hand, 12 Upper Belgrave Place, Pimlico, to Ozias Humphry |
| Date | 19 Sep 1808 |
| Extent & Medium | 1 piece |
| Content Description | Reminding Humphry of his promise to his late wife, made when she was dying, that he would protect her son Alexander. She asked that Humphry exert his influence in order to get Alexander into Christ Church School. He hints that Humphry has behaved less than wonderfully in the matter of another member of the family [also Richard?], whose first mistake led to him being sent to prison. He had, or so he thought, convinced Humphry that the report of their conduct in prison was false. |
