|Title||Biographical notes on Henry Fuseli, with newspaper cuttings|
|Extent & Medium||1 piece|
|Content Description||The main article is copied from Gentleman's Magazine, June 1825. A collection of newspaper cuttings are pasted to the face of the page.|
A notice of Fuseli's election to the Academy; a list of how members voted in Fuseli's election; a discussion of the consequence of Fuseli's election, ie. the resignation of Sir Joshua Reynolds; a notice that the King wishes Reynolds to stay in his post; a satirical motto for the ensuing year's exhibition; an advertisement for Fuseli's paintings in the Milton Gallery; an advertisement for the Life of Henry Fuseli, annotated "1820", and then two adverts for his colleted lectures.
|Note||The biography of Fuseli is more extensive than commonly found prior to this point in the Anderdon volumes, also, it is not in Anderdon's hand. Edward Bell is possibly repsonsible for this text.|
