|Content Description||He is happy to hear that Humphry will pass a couple of days in Chuprah. He has heard of the delay in Humphry's return to England. He looks forward to settling in Sevenoaks, but must be independent as Sevenoaks is not a cheap place. He discusses Humphry's picture of Miss Nouaille, with whom he is besotted, her qualitities as described by Humphry would "turn the heart of an anchorite". He hears she has many suitors.|
