|Content Description||He has been too busy to write and sends a journal page of his activities [LAW/2/319?]; he saw Mr. D__e on the first morning of his arrival; he describes the vast space he has been given in the hotel de ville as a painting room and specifics of his dealing with the Emperor of Austria and the Emperor of Russia; he is ably assisted by his faithful servant Edward; he asks for his best wishes to be given to Mr. Smirke, Thomson, Howard, Owen, Westmacott and Phillips; asks if it is true that West paints in the Queen's House Library.|
