|Content Description||He came to Venice intending to stay ten days and has been there now four months; he analyses the historic and contemporary Venetian schools and is pleased with the facilities at the Academy there; he is not impressed by the works of Camuccini; his contribution to Canova's monument has impressed the Venetians; his picture of the King is so popular that applcations to copy from it ("to attain the new manner") are being restricted; he suggests Lawrence must have nearly finished his Academy and he can't help complaining of how he has been placed in the exhibitions "by the floor"; he has been admiring works by Tintoretto, Paolo Veronese and Titian; he wishes to be remember to Mr. Fuseli.|
