Summary NoteThe plates show masterpieces of ancient Greek vase-painting, from the collection in the Altes Museum, Berlin. All but one depict mythic subjects. The collection includes works by 'the Berlin Painter' (ca. 500-ca.460 B.C.), Euphronius (6th century B.C.) and Execias (6th century B.C.). All plates but the last are printed in colour.
