Summary NoteThis is an account of one of the most representative collections of Raphael's drawings. Most of them were given to the Ashmolean in 1845 and 1846, and had previously belonged to Sir Thomas Lawrence, P.R.A.

The plates show drawings of miscellaneous subjects. One (pl. 44) is a facsimile of his handwriting.
Responsibility NoteMost plates in both series are signed as painted or drawn by Raphael. In the first series most are also signed as engraved by J. Fisher; in the second series, a few as engraved by him.
