Robert Bruce. The group 'Asia' (including a figure of 'India') was part of the sculptures of the Albert Memorial (for which Foley also created the statue of Prince Albert).|
In 1857 Foley accepted membership of the Royal Academy, but in 1861 ceased exhibiting there, dissatisfied with its provision for the display of sculpture.
