Summary NoteAlthough the title-page refers to copper-plates, the book contains printed text only. The plates were printed in the Tables of the Skeleton and Muscles of the Human Body (1749) (40 plates) and A Compleat System of the Blood-Vessels and Nerves (1750) (eleven plates). 'The Explanation of the Supplement ... Containing A Compleat Anatomical Description ...' has its own title-page, reading, 'A Compleat System Of The Blood-Vessels And Nerves, Taken From Albinus's Edition of Eustachius ...' and having the same imprint as the main title-page.
