Responsibility NotePlates 1-18, 25, 27-34, 36, 43-78 are signed as lithographed by Asselineau after Rockstuhl, also lithographed by 'Rigo Frs. et Cie 7 rue Richer', and carry the publisher's imprint of Velten. Plates 19- 24, 26, 35, 37-42 are unsigned but carry Velten's imprint (apart from pl. 23, blank). Plates 79-126 are unsigned and without imprint (apart from pl. 96, signed as drawn by Aloys Rockstuhl and lithographed by Asselineau, and plates 123, 126 signed as lithographed by Asselineau, and with the imprint of the publisher Velten at St. Petersburg and the printer Lemercier at Paris). Plates 127-132 are signed as lithographed by Asselineau and carry the printer's imprint of Lemercier. Plates 133-180 are signed as drawn by Rockstuhl and lithographed by Asselineau, and carry the printer's imprint of Lemercier at Paris (of these, pl. 172, 175-8 carry Lemercier's address, 'r. de Seine 57').
