ProvenanceThe apparent previous ownership of this copy by the artist William Hoare RA suggests it may have been part of the Prince Hoare bequest of books and prints received by the Royal Academy in 1835. However, it is not recorded in either the 1841 or 1864 printed catalogues of the Library.
