|Content Description||Sends thanks for sending his things, which were collected by the carriage sent to the station to fetch Mr. Gladstone. The picture mired, Gladstone is a great but difficult subject. He is a great talker when the subject interests him. He lives "in and with" his family and even his "sanctum sanctorum" is open to all.|
Lady Mary Herbert makes a merry addition to the house. The Duke and Duchess of Argyll are to arrive shortly.
