Biography
Engraver, and educationist, in London, Lavenham (1786-96) and Colchester (1796-1829). In 1781 married Miss Ann Martin (1757-1830). Son of engraver Isaac Taylor (1730-1807); brother of Charles Taylor (1756-1823); father of Ann Gilbert (1782-1866), Jane Taylor (1783-1824), Isaac Taylor (1787-1865), Martin Taylor (1788-1867) and Jefferys Taylor (1792-1853).
