Silvester Harding

Biography
Artist, publisher, in London. In 1776 entered Royal Academy schools; exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1776. From 1786 he and his brother the engraver Edward Harding (1755-1840) sold prints and books in Fleet Street; in 1792 they moved to Pall Mall. Father of miniature-painter George Perfect Harding (1779/80-1853) and engraver Edward Harding (d. 1796).
